Prof Muna Anjum heads the Bacterial Characterisation Group in the Department of Bacteriology and is Chair of the Academic Board at Animal and Plant Health Agency. Muna uses genomics to characterise AMR and bacterial pathogens from animals, in the context of One-Health. She provides expert advice to the UK government on AMR and food safety through DARC and ACMSF. She also holds a Professorship at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London.
