Faduma‑Zahra Gure is a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) professional at the University of Birmingham, with responsibility for leading cross‑programme PPIE delivery across complex health and health data research portfolios.

As PPIE Lead across several NIHR and HDR UK infrastructures, Faduma‑Zahra supports researchers to meaningfully embed public involvement throughout the entire research lifecycle, from early planning and governance through to delivery and public‑facing outputs. Her work includes facilitating public advisory groups, co‑producing accessible research communications, and building long‑term partnerships with community organisations to broaden and diversify participation in research.
