Biography
Dr Hannah Trivett is a Research Fellow with expertise in microbial genomics, metagenomics, bioinformatics. Her research explores microbe-microbe interactions across human microbiomes, including the gut and vaginal microbiomes, combining experimental and computational approaches to understand how microbial communities influence human health. She is particularly interested in the role of mobile genetic elements in the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance and in developing bioinformatic methods to characterise these elements directly from complex microbiome samples.
