Biography

Dr. Chunxia Jiang received her Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2023 and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Surrey. Her research focuses on the environmental distribution and risk assessment of antimicrobial resistance genes, the evolution and horizontal transfer of bacterial antibiotic resistance, and microbial ecological modeling. She has led a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientist Fund and has participated in one NSFC General Program project and one NSFC Joint Fund project. She serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for Biocontaminant and as a Review Editor for Environmental Research and Frontiers in Microbiology. In addition, she is a member of the NERC Peer Review College. Her research has been published as first author in journals, including Water Research and Environmental Science and Ecotechnology.
